The Financing Nature Recovery UK Coalition has been working towards the development of a shared Vision and agreed Framework for high-integrity markets for nature.
The following publications draw on a wide range of workshops and discussions with stakeholders from Government, business and community in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Final Recommendations and Roadmap
The Recommendations and Roadmap were developed over 2 years, with input from over 300 experts from across government, business, finance and the environmental and land management sectors.
These Updated Draft Recommendations set out how it is proposed to deliver the Framework in a timely, consistent and coordinated way and will be include in a Draft Report to be released towards the end of November.
Following a round of workshops in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland on the Strategic Directions, we have prepared an initial set of draft recommendations for review and comment.
This Strategic Directions paper has been prepared to obtain feedback and input from stakeholders in the Financing UK Nature Recovery initiative on the:
Vision for markets for nature-based environmental services
Framework for Investment; and
Strategic Directions proposed for action to implement the Framework
Accelerating private investment in nature-based solution
A proposal for how the Government can structure its public investment in nature over the next four years in England to leverage private investment at scale and demonstrate the conditions for investment needed over the longer term.
